Meeting:UK Causal Inference Meeting (UK-CIM)

A new initiative for another causal inference meeting, this time in the UK (Manchester). We can only celebrate these initiatives, especially since this meeting is focussed at researchers at the start of their career as we can read at their website.
[UK-CIM] aims to provide a forum for people interested in causal inference to meet informally, for early career researchers to highlight their work, and to offer opportunities for networking to foster future research opportunities and collaborations.
The theme of the meeting is Causal Inference in Health and Social Sciences.  Causal inference is broadly defined, and the focus is on methodology and challenging applications, though submissions relating to interesting applications that highlight necessary methodological extensions are also encouraged.
The first meeting will take place over two days in May 2013 at The University of Manchester in Manchester, England.
The meeting will have Stijn Vansteelandt as a keynote speaker and a selection of up to 20 oral presentations of those who are participating. The meeting will be held on Tuesday 14th May – Wednesday 15th May 2013 at The University of Manchester. For more information, please see their website.
